My Opinion on the protest

Alright this isn't just mine. But i want  state my opinion (mainly disagrees) on the  protest thing and rights for Ash. I AM FOR TRANS RIGHTS AND PEOPLE! SO DON'T HOLD IT AGAINST ME! I DON'T mean to offend at all. 


1.) Ash and the school should open it more wide on ALL the Trans people at school. Or even for LGBT rights? IDK at least for the Trans people at school. Don't just do it for Ash. Do it for the incoming generation at the school and the ones their now! It's not just for Ash. I'm not hating on him because I've known him since 6th grade and my boyfriend has known him since elementary. It just kinda bugs me. Plus people back up Ash, yeah there are those people who disagree. But i saw people at the sit in and signing the petition when they have talked shit and harassed my trans and non-Binary friends/people. DON'T JUST DO IT FOR HIM, DO IT FOR OTHERS DAMMIT.

2.) Our GSA has tried to do many things before him, and tried to gain more rights or help out the LGBT community within and out of the school.. But when we try to do something, we get harassed or talked about in bad ways. Or even just being a club or being open about it...

3.) Finally, I agree that letting Ash run for prom king is a good idea, i'm all in for that. The bathroom situation I'm not really sure about. and I have talked to people and they are agreeing with me on this. I believe that Trans people shouldn't use the bathrooms they identify with unless they have proof of a surgery down there or their gender marker is changed. I said it. Cause lets just say if i didn't know a person, even if i did. Just randomly walk into a bathroom with a bunch of guys. I would be ok with it if i was the trans.... But.. it would be bad and weird for the those guys. How about instead of letting Trans people use the bathroom they want, how about getting and forcing the school board into getting us a Non-gender/family restroom in schools IN THE HALLWAY!. with like 3 or more stalls and urinals. Plus this will be nice for the non-binary people as well, and not just helping the trans community. 



I'm sorry if you do not like my opinion, but that is what it is. Everyone has an opinion and well, this is mine and many others. Congrats to Ash finally able to run ad prom king! YOU HAVE MY VOTE ALREADY!  YOU FOUGHT HARD YOUNG GRASSHOPPER!
